Small Projects
These are a group of projects I have created in the past and hope to one day build them out more fully.
Grounds & Hounds
This was a rebranding project of a preexisting company - Grounds and Hounds. I wanted their logo to match both the name of the company and their fun attitude more. I created a dog nose (hounds are sniffer-led dogs) and used a rounded edge block font to bring some playfulness into the logo. Then I created the coffee color palette and the pattern on the bandanna to the left using all sorts of dog and human treats.
These are some of the mockups that go with the Grounds & Hounds project. A mug with a dog chasing his tail on it and a dog themed t-shirt.
Bare Woods Body Wash
This project was to create a soap brand and market it to a certain consumer group. As many of the projects in my portfolio tend to lead towards female audiences, I wanted to challenge myself and create something manly. I created the punny soap, Bare Woods Body Wash for men. It is sold in flask shaped bottles with pump tops and comes in three different colors corresponding with the scent of each bottle of soap. Below are mockups of the soap container flasks, two alternate scent logos, and two advertisements that would be up on billboards or on Facebook.
Nobilitea
Another rebranding project of a local tea chain. Nobilitea is a boba location in town, but their logo does not reflect their establishment. I mimicked a crown shape in the drink splash for nobility, included a thick boba straw, and changed the brand font to something more youthful and contrasted. I brought in the purple because Nobilitea create lots of signature drinks and purple is an atypical drink color, representing that.
Total Eclipse
This was a design for Schreiner University’s Graphic Design program t-shirt. The word totality had to be included in the logo work, so I made it in a sci-fi styled font. Then I built out a line art moon and added star paths around it to create a more centered logo.
