The Bloom Room
The Bloom Room, an internet-based plant emporium, caters to women who enjoy crafting personalized living spaces that reflect their unique style. Infused with an art nouveau aesthetic, the Bloom Room aspires to customize every interaction for each individual. This personalized approach is envisioned to propel the company towards growth, establishing it as a thriving marketplace for personalized plant rooms (pun intended).
This is a transition of what inspired The Bloom Room and then the finalized logo concept. I knew I wanted fun, rich colors and to match a high life aesthetic with art nouveau influence. I created a mood board with some colors, patterns, and themes I liked and the worked on incorporating that feel into the logo design - mimicking archways and flora.
I started with the packaging design using art nouveau organic lines as my inspiration. After all, if this is going to be online based, then the incoming packages the consumers will be receiving should be a part of the experience.
To continue the consumers’ experience, I created stickers and plant birth certificates/name tags that would be attached on the inside flaps of the shipping boxes.
The Bloom Room would use brand ambassadors to expand their consumer base, rather than solely relying on social media and web advertising. These are the business cards for them - seed packets and then upon scanning the BR QR code on the back, it would take you to the Bloom Room website.
To help the Bloom Room’s beginner to experienced plant parent consumers, they came out with a line of tools with their brand patterning on the handle. This was another draw to the company as not only is the Bloom Room personalizing the plant journey, they’re helping with the continued care as the plant grows.
Last, but not least, is the Bloom Room app. This is to help aid user experience, while also making it easy to keep track of plants the consumers think they may want to purchase and parent in the future.
Blog: Ask questions and help others.
On this blog, a user could post images of their plants and ask questions of others on the app that would assist in helping their plants. It is a shared forum of plant knowledge.
Home: Keep track of personal plants.
Watch water intake, location, track growth, anything a consumer may need to keep their plant healthy and stable would be found in the individual plant folders.
Profile: All about the consumer.
This page would hold all personal information that would appear on the blog, website privacy, subscriptions, and previous purchases all in one location for ease of access.
Shop: Because who doesn’t want more plants?
This is where the ease of shopping comes in, shop by specific sections, save plants to the favorites folder, or purchase from the app!
