Gourmet Alchemy
Gourmet Alchemy is the name of a cooking convention that I came up with for a class project. GA is designed to create a safe and fun learning environment for those who could benefit from the addition of better kitchen skills and new recipes to support themselves and possible family members.
This is the mood board I came up which helped me to lock down the color palette - different shades from fresh foods and vegetables. Then I created the logo with its secondary options. The location being in a secondary visual font as it would change depending on where the convention was being held that month.
Table Signage: This is what the table looks like for signing in and receiving the below gifts (tote bag, cookbook and pen).
Stage Signage: This is what the stage background and podium looks like. This is where the panels are held at the events.
Here are the pens, GA labeled with a secondary logo design and you can mix or match them to color coordinate with the tote or cookbook.
This is the trifold brochure that I completely hand drew. It will be handed to the people upon their arrival and details (in order of unfolding): the title page, about GA and the event, the timeline, and then the two keynote speakers. On the back is a graphic poster that they can hang up or use as they wish.
Booth Signage: This is what each section is labeled with, a large 8x3 foot sign that stands up next to the booth for easy identification.
With the attendees having both the things they brought, the ability to shop KitchenAid items, and then being given a brochure, pen, and cookbook, I created a tote bag that would carry all of their items for ease as they experienced the convention and learned to cook.
Cover of the cookbook / All 3 color options / Recipes taught will be included / Then blank pages for personal recipes to be added
Last but to least is the Gourmet Alchemy Instagram page. This is what the profile would look like with a version of the logo symbols for the iconography and then an alternating dark/light contrast in posts of the food made at the conventions.
Then there’s the carousel - a quick look into how their posts would work. A combination of photography of food as an eye catcher and then pulled through with images taken at the conventions. The drawings would continue to layer the pictures as a fun little piece. Seen at the top are the stories - one for each convention location!
